What is ‘RPL with time credit’ and ‘RPL without time credit’?

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) given with time credit means that the time required to complete your Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program is reduced. This can be by up to 52 weeks.

RPL given without time credit does not reduce the total training time for your AGPT program. It recognises prior experience of particular topic areas, so that you can use an equivalent amount of time to pursue other training units.
